Home Movie Restoration

Post by dannyg12 »

I am putting some Home Movies on DVD. The original film is 8mm and in many cases is 50 years old. I sent the film out to a professional company to have the film digitized and they did what seems like a good job. However, many of the scenes are quite poor, and I think it is because of the age and poor storage condition of the original film. I have been looking for film restoration software to clean up the bad scenes but all the software I have found requires a parent program within which to operate. This quickly becomes ecomomically prohibitive. Does ULEAD have a program or are they developing a program to fix bad film problems?
