Why all clips in timeline at start?

Post by Ballkalle »

Everytime I start a new project on Videostudio 9 (same with earlier releses)
I choose split by scene - witch works fine. But when I start to edit I want all my clips to the right and a empty timeline. What I get now is all the clips to the right AND all the clips on the timeline.
Any tips on how to get this right?

I'm not sure if you can tell VideoStudio not to add the clips to the timeline when you import them (I'm at work at the moment). But all you would have to do to clear the timeline is: #1 - delete the clips from the timeline or #2 - start a new project. Either way your clips will stay in the library.

Black Lab is correct. You can't tell Video Studio not to add them to the timeline.
