I just installed a new Pioneer DVR-R100 and also installed the software from ULEAD that came with it,
now the software does not see any of my two cd-rom drives.. What is going on? I am using WINDOWS98SE
I sent a message to ULEAD Tech support but they did not reply me..
What kind of company is this? Can anyone help?

OK, thats the first step.
From your other post I see you have "Burn Now" is that a standalone copy or a part of DVDMF4? If so does the DVD authoring tool see your DVD writer?
Have you got any "packet writing" software installed. Packet writing software enables you to "drag and drop" from windows explorer onto the CD/DVD writer as if it was a hard drive. If so disable that software and then see if "Burn now" recognises your writer.

The Burn. Now is the same that comes with the DVDMF4. No none of the Movie Factory4 see the Writer. But the Windows98 SE see the drive.sjj1805 wrote:OK, thats the first step.

NO. I already un-install the CD-Creator v3.5 that I was using on the older Phillips CD Writer, that is when I bought the new Pioneer to replaced the older Phillips. The CD Creator v3.5 does not support DVD only cd-writing.sjj1805 wrote:Do you have any other CD/DVD writing software installed such as Nero or CopyToDVD. If so does that software see the writer?
I will try and get Nero or other software.. and I will then forget the ULEAD software if another one works... I am very disapointed with ULEAD and will nerver buy any of their software ever again.
Thank you.
