Hi all
Like so many others, I have had some major problems with MSP8. The patch would not install correctly (said that MSP8 wasn't installed on my system), the Smart Compositor Designer wreaked havoc (could not launch MSP8 at all), and I could not create video files with any kind of Dolby audio!
Taking a cue from another post, I called Ulead (was number 4 in the cue) and requested the installation file that did not require internet activation. I wasn't sure if the download on the Ulead site was actually the correct one, so that's why I called. After getting the download link via email, I uninstalled the previous installation of MSP8, installed the serial-number-only MSP8, installed the patch, installed the smart compositor designer and lastly installed the content. Now everything works perfectly!
Finally, software that I can actually use.
Note: I have not tested the smart compositor, so I don't know if there are any bugs.
