Capture from SONY Mini DV

Has anyone any suggestions why at the end of capture I get a message saying capture has failed, the file is corrupt and unusable?

I'm running XP Professional, connecting via firewire and have over 50 GB of available disk space. All settings are as recommended in the Video Studio instructions.

Your guess is a good as ours. What exactly did you do how and with what settings?

We know that you captured a seemingly corrupt video clip, that's all.
