16:9 on Video Studio 5.0

I have dried for some time to make Ulead Video Studio output the 16:9 format as I have that on my camera. When I capture a movie though it is transformed to 4:3 and looks weird.

Then I discovered that it says I can use 16:9 format of I pick the custom choice - but when I go there it is greyed out. No matter how I change the variables it is still grey.

All info I get from technical support is that this version is too old for the support and I should pay another $50 - which I don't have being unemployed. I need the 16;9 format to get a short time project, and I have to deliver my product before I get any money.

Sorry, it's not gonna happen. UVS 5 simply doesn't support non-square pixels.

You could download the 30-day trial of UVS 9 and produce your video using that, and hopefully get paid before the trial expires and UVS stops working (or you can go back to UVS 5 at that point).

It does not help as I will not get the money before april. Thanks for the answer - but I will have to cancel it all not having the resources
