CD no longer works...

Post by terjeber »

I purchased a download version of Ulead Production studio (in fact I have bought 3) and I copied it to a backup CD with my other ULead software. I had a HD crash, and I am in the process of re-installing stuff, and it turns out that my ULead CD is bad. Luckily I had the other ULead software on other backup CDs, but not Cool 3D Production Studio...

So, what now?

Providing you have your original email from element5 with your purchase details, you need to send an email to ulead and request a download link.

I do not have the original email from Element 5. My inbox was also lost in the HD crash.

Did you register your software on the ulead website. If so log on, retrieve your serial number and then send an email to ulead.

Go to element 5's web-site. They should still have a record of your purchase. You will probably need to look it up by your email address (provided that hasn't changed since you made your purchase). I have been able to find info about purchases I made dating all the way back to 2002.

I registered my software, I'll send an email to ULead. I am unable to find anything on the element5 website that will allow me to log in and check my status. At www.element5.com there is only marketing blah, blah and a little bit of customer service...
