Hey - I have Photoimpact 10 on my PC. It works well however there is a problem. Now, everytime there i open a JPG or a BMP file, it opens in Photoimpact...How do I make it stop opening in photoimpact and have it open in the windows picture viewer?
I have gone to preferences and went to file association and deselected JPG and BMP however its still associatied with these file types... help?

From Windows Explorer, navigate to any JPG file and right click.
From the list select "Open with"
DO NOT SELECT ANY OF THE EXISTING PROGRAMS even though the one you want may already be in the list. Instead select "Choose program."
Now either select the required program from the list, or if it is not in the list, navigate to it.
make sure you have a tick in the box that asks"Always use the selected program to open this kind of file."
Now repeat the process with a BMP file.
