PI 8 printer problem

I recently reinstalled PI8 on my PC (Win XP). I cannot print a color image unless I go into Win Control Panel and change the default from B&W to color. I'm printing to a HP Deskjet 952c which works fine in other applications. Any suggestions?

Try to make color settings from b/w to color in win control panel and try to make them your new default settings.

Sure that works....but I want my default settings to be B&W so I won't waste color ink on normal stuff (emails, etc). Thanks anyway.

It appears that the PI software isn't overiding the default settings.
