Why small *.dwz files

Post by rdsatkaycee »

I can't understand why the saved *.dwz files are so small. Does anyone know how or why? Thanks,

Hi,

Dwz files are program data files, they are not actual video. They just hold all the information about which video clips you are using, and what edits, or changes such as trims, mark-ins/outs, effects, etc..

Vido---thanks. I was thinking of that, I can understand about getting the data off the hard drive, but then I removed one of the videos (hard copy in second DVD rom) and it still worked.
