Hello,
I started to install DVD MovieFactory 4 Suite
that came with a Pioneer DVD-R100 drive.
about 3/4 through the install process the power failed
shutting the system down right in the middle of the install.
When power was restored I attempted to reinstall the software
but a message came up saying that I would have to uninstall
what was already there. I went to unistall it but a box came up
with an error and the software would not uninstall (missing file I suppose)
So my question is what do I need to do in order to remove
the software so that I can go back and reinstall the software correctly?
Thanks.
MovieFactory 4 wont uninstall

Hi Glen65,
I don't know what OS your running, if it's WinXP, try doing a System Restore to a point before you tried installing. That is unless you had system restore disabled..
Since the uninstaller will not work, just going through and deleting everything that is MF4. Programs place files/folders in numerous places on a HDD. You will have a folder under C:>Program Files>Ulead Systems>, C:>Documents and Settings>All Users>Application Data.
The hard and tricky part is locating the entries in the Registry. If you're not familar with the registry and using regedit, or another utility then I wouldn't mess with it. If you do, and delete the wrong entry it could cripple your computer.
