Creating Video File

Post by Doon »

Please help. I am trying to create an MPEG file, using the standard PAL DVD template.
I keep getting the error - Unable to compress the video with the specified frame rate or frame size.

I've checkeed all the details and everything matches.
Does anyone have any ideas.

Thanks

No idea whatsoever because you haven't told us all the essential details such as type/size of input file, project settings, create settings, etc.

Apologies - the info is:
MSPRO8
The dvp file is 670kb - approx 17 minutes duration. Titles and sound included.

Project Settings
PAL (25fps)
MS AVI files
24 bits, 720 x 576, 25fps
Lower Field First
Uncompressed
PCM, 48000 16 Bit Stereo
There are no global filters
Aspect ration 4:3

Trying to save as MPEG
In the Save Options...
Non-square pixel rendering;
Frame size - standard 720 x 576 - aspect ration 4:3
Media type - PAL DVD
LPCM audio, 48000 HZ - stereo

I have managed to create an MPEG file with the same source files previously, (came to 703MB in size) so don't know what I'm doing wrong this time.
As an added note: Although central on the preview, the titles were all set to the left of the screen (and some captions were cut of on the left hand side)- so there was a problem anyway.

Thanks for your help.
