Menu Motion Background

Please could someone advise me? I have just bought and installed DVD Workshop 1 with AC3.
I am asking if you can have a video motion background running on the menu page. If I can then how do I go about it? Has the video file got to be of a certain type?
The other aspects of this programme seem to be pretty straight forward.

Howell,
Ensure that the video that you wish to use is loaded in the production library(the area bottom left), then in the menu step with the required menu displayed in the main screen, drag your video from production library onto the menu. A bit odd, you would think it works like background audio.

I would like to thank you very much for your help. Workshop appears now to be doing what I wanted. I guessed it would be something simple that was stopping the motion background.
