I'm new to DVD Factory 3.5, and I'm trying to put together my first project which contains the following:
Video File 1:
File Format: Microsoft AVI
File Size: 715,810 KB
Frame Rate: 23.976 Frames/sec
Duration: 3038.247 Seconds
Data rate: 234.46 kbps
Compression: DivX 5.2.1
Attributes: 24 bits, 960 x 528
Total Frames: 72,845 Frames
AND
Video File 2:
File Format: Microsoft AVI
File Size: 354,844 KB
Frame Rate: 23.976 Frames/sec
Duration: 3001.460 sec
Data rate: 116.67 kbps
Compression: DivX 5.2.1
Attributes: 24 bits, 624 x 352
Total Frames: 71,963
The combined size of these two files is just over 1 Gig. However, when I add just these two clips to the DvdFactory Project, the disk size is up to 6.48 GB, and I am unable to burn the two to the same disk. These are simple 50 minute clips, so I should be able to fit 3 or 4 potentially on a single 4.7GB disk.
I have attempted to use Project Settings -> Change MPEG Settings, and tried to set it to SP, or 120 min for a 4.7 GB disk...
Any ideas?????
Thanks in advance!!!

Avi-divx(mpeg4) is not mpeg2 and very compressed.
You 'll have to put the two files on two different DVDs (not only because of their length (100 minutes) but also due to the different resolutions.
Before that, I recommend using a prog (TMPGnce) to convert these two files into a proper mpeg2-DVD format (NTSC 720X480 at +-7000 kbit/sec).
