Rotate Video

Post by pucho »

In VideoStudio is there a way to rotate a video taken with a photo camera from portrait to landscape mode?

Movies were made using digital photo camera and the person did not realize movies must be shot in landscape mode. When movie is played on computer, top of image points left because camera was held in portrait mode.

If VideoStudio cannot do, is there any extensions or utility that can do it?

Any clues appreciated. Thank you.

after you have the video clip in the time line, use the "Edit" tab and look at the upper left side of the screen, you will see a symbol of "90" whith a turning arrow indicating you can use that to turn 90 degrees..

Video 90 Degree Rotation

Post by pucho »

When I asked the question to Ulead technical support representative this morning, he very confidently told me:

"There is no such video software on the market that can rotate video 90 degrees."

I will definetely buy Video Studio!! I need to make DVD from movies taken with still digital photo camera.

Thank you very much for your prompt response.
