Are you capturing with Video Studio, or the special capture software that's made for your capture device? You may have to use the capture software that came with it.
Is your audio connected to the capture device or your sound card? (If the capture device has an audio input, use it.)
Is the A/V out of sync as-captured, or after editing it? If it's out of sync as-captured, you might have to contact AverMedia for a solution.
If your sync problems show-up after editing or after creating a DVD, you are getting file corruption. - Your device captures to MPEG and MPEGs are not meant to be edited! (I have an MPEG capture device, and I bought a special-purpose MPEG editor.)
A/V sync problems are very common, and they seem to have many different causes / solutions. Search the forum for "sync", and you'll find lots of discussion & suggestions.
