It takes my project over an hour to prepare for burning after I select "OUTPUT". Then once I reach 100%, I get an error stating my DVD burner is inoperable.
Any help out there???

Some burning software can conflict with Ulead. If you have regular burning software such as Nero or Roxio, this may be the problem.
You can "burn" the DVD to you hard drive, and then copy it to the actual DVD using your regular burning software -
When you get to the burning screen, uncheck Record To Disc, and check Create DVD Folders. This will make the VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS folders on your hard drive. (The AUDIO_TS folder will be empty... The audio and video are multiplexed together in the VIDEO_TS folder.)
