Ver4 locks on setting video save options, AVI tab.

Hello all,
The problem I encountered is when trying to export a clip in AVI format.
I try to use the customize function, then select M-soft AVI file.
Then Options.
If I click on the AVI tab, well it's goodnight Irene.
The program stops responding.
Nothing will accept an input from the mouse.
The task manager says it's still running.
When I attempt to close the program, it then says it's waiting for input from me. (It can wait, because it's not accepting any input!)
I terminate the program and it returns to the main entrance screen.

This happens with any length video clip, from 10 sec. to 5 min.

The target is to take old captured video clips, (camera or broadcast), and make a file small enough to post on web pages.

I have not found other "bugs" yet and the program set has produced several DVD conversions of old camera videos.

I did try the update for version 4, but that was before I registered the software.

The system is an Athelon at about 1.95 GHz, I have 512 meg of ram and the working or cache disk has 95.8 gig free, operating system disk has 33.6 gig free. All updates are in place from M-soft for the operating system. The disks are regularly defragged.

Overall it would have been nicer if there was a just one more button squeezed in there to activate a help file.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. I would even try reloading it if necessary.
