Switching software to new computer
I bought Ulead GIF animator 5, in May of 2002, downloaded from web in trial version, then activated by a key number provided at purchase. That old computer has crashed....taking with it my application and the e-mails relating to purchase and numbers. Downloaded same application to my new computer, and now I have been unable to find any key number that works, and can not get through to Ulead (old phone numbers don't work, and e-mail is not accepted or returned), and Element5 (the source through which purchase of license was made) says that Ulead is the only entity that can help me in this matter. What to do?

Yes i'm having the same trouble. I lost everything due to viruses. My nieces fault!
Anyway that happened begining of this month, & I've tried that many times to send them e-mails which either get sent back as not deliverable or have just been ignored.
I payed a lot of money for pi-11 & think that they should have somekind of service for their customers, otherwise they would soon go out of business if everyone kicks up about it.

Personally I have never had a problem with emails not being answered. A few times though, I had to retrieve the reply from my Bulk mail folder. Your ISP may be classifying certain mails as Spam, even if they are not. Hence, you may not get to see them.
@lakeith
there is a toll free number, I believe, that US customers can ring. Please scan recent posts in the PI forum where this number has been mentioned again just recently. Unfortunately, users outside the US are not pampered like that
