"runtime error"

After all the hot fix problems, which have prevented me from using MSP8 I have uninstalled everything and reinstalled MSP8 and the content pack (whilst awating for the NEW installer). Very unexpectdely, and right at the end, I got the following message:
"runtime error!
Progam...amas\Ulead Systems\Ulead Media Studio Pro 8.0\veditor.dat
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way."
Please help before I really go nuts.Tks.
OS: Win XP Pro
MSP8 version:MSP8_ESD_TBYB_E_8.00.0028.exe

Problem solved. I had to clean up all my files containing anything concerning MSP8, including Temp's and registry (see Terry advice in the Forum). MPS8 is now back with SCD also installed...and working. I await for the hot fix to stabilise.
