file formats

I've had some system problems. I recently did a system restore to a point when I know everything was working ok. However, now when trying to capture video, I get an error message "file format mismatch" and can't save the clip. I've checked everywhere I can think of. Anyone have any ideas?

what was the reason that you performed the system restore?

Some applications were causing run time errors. I know now that they were 16-bit programs causing the problems. Everything is fine now, except this "file format mismatch" error.
