Hey all,
Hoping someone that has the MPEG4 plugin for VS9 can answer this one. I have downloaded the free VS9 trial because I'm trying to find a video editing program that supports AAC, which is what iTunes uses.
The MPEG4 plugin *appears* to be what I need to use the AAC files, but the plugin is for registered users only.
Can anyone verify that the MPEG4 plugin allows importing AAC files? If so, I'm buing VS9 today, I like the looks of it but I really need AAC file support.
Plan B is to buy a mac and use iMovie, since it supports AAC fully. Converting my audio files isn't an option - I've got a few thousand files and it's not worth my time when there's a mac that'll let me do it!
AAC (iTunes) Audio - supported by MPEG4 plugin?
