Green lines

Post by P3D2E »

I have green lines appear horizontally on my video. Does anyone have this problem or the soloution to get rid of them please? Whenever I edit my videos using Ulead, save them into mpg format and then play them back, these lines show up throughout the whole video.

I do not capture live from Ulead, I use video footage from my digital camera (Goodmans G shot 3000c) It produces ASF files, which I then convert into MPEG1.
I edit the MPEG1 file since that is what Ulead can read.

ASF File info before converting into MPEG1 --
-- video --
framerate - 6.76 frame/s
Bitrate - 696188 bps
352 x 288

--audio--
Bitrate - 96656 bps
Frequency - 24000Hz
Mono

The file information after converting and editing
Format - MPEG1

-- video --
Attributes, 24bits, 352x288
framerate - 25.000 frames/sec
Data rate - variable bit rate

-- audio --
Audio type - MPEG Audio layer 2 files
attributes - 32000Hz, 16 bit, stereo
layer - 2
Bit rate - 256 kbs

I have tried other formats for editing AVI, WMV MPEG2, those end up with the same result.
If anyone has any clue whats happening or a soloution, please let me know.

Thank you for your time
