As a new user of VS9, i am still getting a 'feel' for the program. So far i am so happy with it i will never return to Pinnacle. Just one thing - when you created DVD menus and chapter points with Pinnacle Studio, you could save them in your project, but i find that with VS9, i can only add them at the very end and there is no way to save them once the DVD has been burnt. Is there a way to burn the DVD, then save the chapter points and menus in case you want to alter the project at a later date (without having to re-create the menus and chapters).
Thanks guys.

DGV,
Yes, just save your project! I'm not 100% sure if it works after you burn your DVD (I can't remember), but I do know that it will work if you click Cancel before you actually burn the DVD and save the project. If you're using the Recommended Procedures you won't have a project with anything on the timeline, i.e. a "editing" project, but a "burn" project with a custom menu, chapter points etc.
Hope this helps,
Ron

You can save your chapters and menus by saving the project after you have burned your DVD. They will be there in case you want to make changes to the menu structure, but if you make any changes to the clips, like swapping a video or moving them around you go back to ground zero again on your menus. Something as small as extending a color clip by one frame can cause you to have to recreate the menu structure. That one is annoying, but I have not seen anyway around it yet. There are several people here that have a lot more experience with VS than I do, so maybe one of them will have a better answer for you though.
