Mpeg2 video converts when "Do not covert" box is t

I've had this problem for a while now and was wondering how I can get this annoying occurance fixed. Thanks for any help.

I guess your mpeg2 clips are not DVD compliant.

Further to what Heinz has suggested, if your clips ARE compliant, then wherever you have made edits such as transitions, superimposed new audio, or any video effects (colour corrections, special effects etc) - anywhere that you have done anything to the video - then that part has to be rendered.
