I need help custimizing profile

I have made a editing:

File --> create ---> videofile
I take .wmv ---> options ---. choose a profile
Works very well, the output wmv-file is nearly Okay
So a choose then customize.
The problem is I see the settings but can't edit them..
Please help me, i would like to increase my bitrate but i cant do it

I have the same problems.
I am useing VS9
I go to profile>customize> the profiles are only windows media 8, none of the 9's are showing up and I cant edit the profiles. I am trying to get a WMV at 512 kbs and the closest profile I get is 384 or 700.
my brother is also useing the same version (9.00.100) and he has the option to edit the profiles, he can also import and export profiles. His profiles list windows media 8 and 9.
I have WMP 10 installed. In riverpast video cleaner I get a list of all of the profiles but not in VS9.
When I search for .prx files on my HD I get a list of all of the ones I need at C:\Program Files\Windows Media Components\Encoder\Profiles but VS9 is not seeing them or allowing me to edit the ones in the list.

I am answering my own question.
You can not customize profiles unless you have windows media encoder installed.

Problem solved. Yes i've installed wmv 9 and the encoder and now i can edit the profiles.
