1) Scanning DV-tapes works now very well even if you have repeating timecodes. This happened e.g. when I forgot to do an "end search" before I continued recording on my camcorder. Then it started again form zero.
2) The scanned list can now be saved to an html file. This was one point I had on a wishlist which I sent sometimes to ULEAD and now its realized (I had wished only the possibility to save it to a file, html is even better). If you do this every time you scanned a video file, you will have a good documentation where you can find your clips. So if you remember that you have somewhere a clip which could good fit in your current project, it is easy to find that clip and to reimport it from the original tape. Til now I had saved screenshots of the scan dialg box in an rtf-file.
The html files not only contain the mark-in and mark-out timecodes but also an image of the clip and the time of recording.
Tip: save also the scan-information and the low resolution prescan index files. They dont cost much diskspace but might save you a lot of time when you are searching for some special scene.
Thanks very much ULEAD!!
