how to convert from vsp to mpeg?

i'm new here, and rather have a stupid question to all your pros out here.
can someone tell me how to convert me vsp files to mpeg, avi, or quick?

i think video studio is an amazing program, i truly enjoy it, but it's just sad I can't share my creations with people who don't have the program

ok, i was too quick
i found out how to do it
yet a 40 sec movie is 25MB
is there a way to make that smaller
?

Andre,

You are looking at this the wrong way. First, you can not convert a VSP file to a video file because that is just the VideoStudeo Project file. It only has pointers to the video clips that you are using in your project. 25MB for 40 seconds is about right for MPEG2 files. If you are planning on creating a DVD, this will work just fine. If you are going to distribute the video some other way you will find references in the forums to creating MPEG files using the Divx codec and creating WMV files that will make your file smaller, or you could simply shrink the size of your you display size or cut down the data rate, it depends on how small you want that file and how you are going to distribute it.
