Movie Factory 4 Disc Creator fails to launch

I did a download of Disc creator, and after the trial period, bought a license. Just after that, the following problem started. From the launcher, selecting any DVD creation exercise simply fails to run. The launcher disappears then after 15-20 seconds reappears. I managed to fix the problem once by reinstalling, but now I cannot get it to work at all. The VCD options run some times. I installed the TBYB version, then installed my linked download over the top.

Any help is appreciated.

Perform a search of the MF forum.
You must remove all of the trial version before installing the
retail version (including registry entries).
After removing all the trial version including the registry entries.
Install MF4 (don't reboot), then install the extra content.
Reboot.
