PE 8.5 will not send e-mail

The link Send to Mail Recipient is grayed, does not activate, so am unable to send e-mail pictures (Smart Send ) from PE 8.5. Have checked that my Default E-mail program is Outlet Express. Something is causing a hang-up. Thanks for any help

I just posted this same question on 3-22-2006. Hope I can get a cure.
