Sarah,
You have not filled in your system specs, so we cannot say whther it is up to the task or not.
How have you connected the cam to the pc?
What settings did you choose?
What do you mean by interference? Is it a fuzzy picture or does it look like maybe you are dropping frames and it is more of a jerky capture?

graham,

ehm, ok this is gonna be tough, since i'm a real computer loser...
the cam is connected by firewire to the pc.
in the beginning of the capture, it looks kind of fuzzy, but after a few seconds, it is jerky.

To get your system details
click the START button at the bottom left of your screen, then Control Panel.
Look for an Icon named "System."

This will give you details of
1. Your Operating System
eg Windows XP
2. Your Processor
eg AMD Athlon 2400+
3. Your RAM

Now Double click your "My computer" Icon on your desktop, or if it is not displayed, Again click the START button
and in the RUN box type "Explorer"

You should now see your hard drive(s)
Right click it/them and look at the properties, this will show you how big the hard drive(s) are and the amount of used and free space available.

If you have "My computer" displayed on your desktop, right click and select "Manage"
Now look at Hardware Manager - or on some systems it is called device manager.

Here you can obtained details of your Motherboard, Video Card and Sound Card.
