I am using Video Studio 9.
The captured video has at the last lines colors that not match the other picture. I would like to black these last lines and i dont know how. I tried to insert a border, but still cannot.
Here is a sample
Thanks in advance![/url]
You can use the "Cropping" filter. just drag the cropping filter on to your clip and then click "customize filter". You can set the width to 100% and the height to 95%, or what ever percentage you need to clip that off the bottom. You need to set it twice, the key fram in the beginning and the end too. Also, it centers by default, so what you crop on the bottom is being cropped on top too. This can be changed by moving the "box" up, but you will need to do the same thing on both ends.
Another option is to drag a color clip on to the overlay track and adjust it's size to cover what you want to. Just remember to extend the length of the clip to match your clip.
Both options should work fine for you, just depends on which you are more comfortable with.
Good luck,

but giannis - those lines are way outside of the normal viewing area on a TV set in what is referred to as the 'overscan' they are quite common when viewing a video in a computer video editor but will NEVER show when your final DVD is shown on a television - I always just ignore them.
TubaDad, your method works fine. Thanks a lot.
Brian, you are right, but:
the first video was captured in the NTSC system. My TV set is playing only PAL. And when it is being played as PAL, because of the more lines, the video looks like 16:9 and all the lines are visible.
Thanks you both!
