Where is my project file?

Hi,

My MSP7 crashed, as it does every now and then. I started it again, it asked me if I wanted to recover the last project, I said OK, then it opened it normally, with a strange naming. Stupid me told then MSP to save it over the original project file, since everything looked nice.

After a while, MSP7 told me "error while saving" or something, but the project was still on the screen. Stupid me tried then to open the original file instead of saving again the present project with another name, but puff! no more file available, and the project got lost in cybernirvana...

This is very annoying, does anyone has an idea on how to try to recover it? Does MSP7 stores the "recovered file" somewhere with a diferent name? Searching for .dvp files all over the place did not work...

I have not done anything else on the PC since then, and was planning to do a scan disk, today when I get home, but thought you might have a better idea.

I'm not sure I have an answer but I feel soory for you as it also happened to me several years ago Have you tried to run "Go Back" on Win XP? BTW I make stupid mistakes quite often myself!
