help with emailing video clips needed
I'm new to this. I purchased a webcam to stay in visual contact with friends far away. When I try to send a small clip via email to them, it's always returned as "too big." I've converted as the program suggests. Can anyone offer any tips or help. Thanks.

Sending Video via E-Mail
Hi there Patti,
There are a few things you can do.
1) Reduce the resolution of the videos you're sending will make it smaller. e.g. you could set it to 640x480.
2) Some email clients (such as Hotmail, Yahoo, AOL) set limits as to how much you can send and receive. The BEST by far at the moment (in my opinion) is probably GMail (now named Google Mail in the UK). But to get this, you need to be invited. If you decide to start using GMail to send your videos, please e-mail me and I'll be glad to give you an invite.
More info can be found at: http://www.gmail.com

There's no reason to send video files directly in an email.
Use an upload service like yousendit.com. You upload the video to the service, then send a link via email.
The best I've found is filefront, which isn't an email service but it does allow unlimited video uploads.
Youtube.com lets you upload videos and then people can watch them in a streaming window (the movie plays while the download is happening.)
