I have used VS for some years now and am considering upgrading to version 9. I see from the Ulead site that
"This upgrade can only be purchased directly from Ulead. Upgrade is not available in retail stores"
However, in the UK at least it is available from Amazon at about a 10% discount. Does anybody know whether these are legal copies. It all appears to be genuine, but I am just concerned about the notice on the Ulead site.

I trust Amazon !
However, in the USA, Amazon also allows "partners" to sell through their site. You'll see something like "14 new & used from $49.95". Those are not from Amazon... It's a bit like eBay.
Plus, I'd expect a better price on a bootleg copy... Maybe $9.95.
Ulead has been going through some changes lately. Maybe they've stopped producing the retail upgrades.
