MS Pro 7 Will no longer recognize my audio cues

I am able to add cues to an audio track in the source window. They show up in the cue manager, as well as the audio time line, but when I try to add images and use the A/B roll (automatic slide show), a window pops up stating the timeline does not contain any cues. Why aren't they recognized?
