I have Ulead Media Studio Pro 6.0. I have always had trouble using it.
Right now I can't even open (to edit) a newly captured video file because it says "Contains no video Data" or "File reading eror".
I know it is a lie because I can watch it as a video file on Windows Media Player.
During that whole time I was running service pack two.
I rebooted on my XP disk storing my video on a diferent drive.
So I have some very important video that I have already edited on a drive called "I" and the newly captured video on "H".
Both running on NFST format. I live in USA.
I reformatted my local drive and am not currently running service pack 2.
I can open and edit my newly captured video from "H".
A new problem: I cannot open any file at all from "I".
I cannot even open a picture or video and look at it.
Any advice on how I can make it all work?
Is Media Studio Pro 6.0 incompatible with Windows XP?
I could use some helpful advice.

Please read the thread on Sticky: PLEASE READ THIS FIRST BEFORE POSTING!!! and comply to the letter on all points. Then re-post a new message in clear language because, frankly, I cannot understand a thing of what you are saying.
Also v. 6.0 must be getting on for 5 years old and certainly predates WIN XP. I would very seriously suggest that you upgrade to MSP8. I, for one, have forgotten what versions earlier than 7.0 even look like (remembering that 6.5 was a fairly major upgrade from 6.0) so it would not be reasonable to ask anyone here how 6.0 would work on a modern machine.

You could also try to run MSP6 in compatibility mode for Win98SE.
A few years ago I used MSP 6.5 on a WIN98SE machine and it worked well.
From the few bits of your original post that make sense I gather that you now have problems accessing your second HDD. I fear that you seriously confused your OS when you "erased" your C drive.
How did you do that exactly?
Please fill in your system data and let us know what other programs are running on your system.

I have read sticky "READ THIS BEFORE POSTING".
My problems are not limited to the above^
Almost every time I get on that program its has a new problem.
Maybe someone else has made the same topic of thread as I,
However, I have many problems with this program, manly the Video Editer part of Media Studio Pro 6.0.
This is why I decided to make my own thread.
