loss of audio when joining vidoes - and more Q

1.I tried to join two vidoes (both AVI) with MF4. Once it is done, I lose the audio on the joined video. Separating them - each one works fine.


2. Is it possible to add music just to one chapter or part of a chapter? Adding music - adds it to all of the film.

3. If I have few vidoes at my project, the MF4 don't let me "shut down" the main menu. I wish to have one menu with chapters from both vidoes - but this is impossible. Trying to join vidoes ends in loss of sound.

Can someone help?
