System Freezes when beginning the burn process

I am running MF-4 with the 4 patches applied
I am building a DVD from some small movies on my PC

MF-4 goes through all of the processes
- Convert MPG
- Build VOB
- etc.......

I look in the directories and the files all exist
MF-4 says finished but it has not begun actually burning the DVD
All programs on my PC stop responding
The only option is to reboot

The log file end with

=====Leave CuBurningTrdBase::StartBuildAndBurn()=====
=====Enter CuBurningTrdBase::Burn()=====

I have tried this with many different MPG files
I have tried closing all applications
Still the same problem.

Does anybody have any sugestions

I have the same problem with the german version filmbrennerei 4. Sometimes it is working perfect and other time the software is freezing. In this case the dvd could not be used.

In other cases, the software gets a access violation or is freezing too. For sample i want to add 4 mpeg files. If i add this 4 to a one and activate quickexport to one file. At the end on 90% status i get a access violation. When i add 2 and 2 files and then add this both to one, it works???

Is this software buggy?
