need fix for burning issues

Hi!

Does anyone have a fix for burning issues?
I've tried the patch which was posted here earlier, but to no avail.
Rumour has it that there is another one around. Would anyone be willing to do me the favour of mailing that fix to me.
I'd be very grateful.
