It's not a big deal because I can listen to the track in, say, Windows Media Player, and, as I stated, once recorded it plays fine. Just curious.

No Audio From CD
For housekeeping purposes I recently did a complete reinstall of my OS. Everything is working fine, including VS9, except for one thing. If I have a music cd in my cd drive and, in VS9, want to record or listen to a track from that cd, I can't hear it. Once recorded though, VS9 plays the track just fine. I've check all my Windows audio properties and nothing is muted. Is there a setting in VS9 that I missed?
It's not a big deal because I can listen to the track in, say, Windows Media Player, and, as I stated, once recorded it plays fine. Just curious.
