may some one recomend me the best inkjet printable blank dvd-r media(brand), which have best playback compatibility on stanalone dvd players?

I have had very good luck with Prodisc (recommendation from THoff) and have recently had success with Memorex. I have seen bad things written about the Memorex discs on this forum, but I have not seen any problems yet.
Another thing you need to do is look at waht is compatible with your burner. I have a feeling that is where the difference is when you hear good and bad about the same disc brand.
