Best Video Joiner Software

Post by RobCharles1981 »

Hi Everyone.

I use the Sony FDR AX53 and I recorded an event today and changed the recording settings to HQ @25fps from what I read online about "long Continus Recording" in the shape of 1 Video File I use a good SD Card for this camera at 128gig
When I checked the files 5 Video Files where recorded at 12mins a piece.

Now I'm after good "video joiner" software that can combine these files like they where one file so can anyone help me please?

Many thanks
Rob

Hi Rob
A little strange that the camera split the recordings when saving to your sd card, i would have thought saving to the cameras internal memory would do that.

Cannot help with a video joiner, but have you tried Video Studio
Insert your files to the top timeline, say yes to the Show Message to match the properties to the video

Share – Same as first clip, option is top left along with same as same as project
Again use same as first clip, Smart Render also selected

Just wondering what the SD card was formatted as. If it was FAT/FAT32, then it would record files of a maximum 4GB a piece.
