My second time around in the forum as my original account was lost somehow.
I've been using PSP since the 1990's when it was JASC and included Animation Shop.
Originally I was into web design and used the program mainly for image reduction and resizing.
Ill health forced retirement upon me and as therapy I got into photography where editing became an important part of the process, JASC became Corel and I worked my way through the various incarnations now on the latest.
I've got PSP looking just as I want it by disabling the annoying start up splash screen, deleting the tools that are never used and revealing the hidden useful ones such as black & white point.
For a while I used Adobe until they went subscription based, I decided to switch back to Corel although I still have the old but superior Adobe Lightroom5 and Photoshop5 for the times when Corel lets me down.
I'm by no means a professional and at almost 70 my needs are fewer but hopefully I can bring some help to the table as well as learning new uncomplicated methods on the way.

Can you please tell us how your account was lost? Our records for you don't show any problems, and your posts in the PSP and AfterShot forums all seem to be available, including the most recent in the ASP forum last Saturday (23 September). It would help us if you could explain what happened...

From October 2015 to Jun 2022 I was Bobby55 when suddenly my login became invalid as I tried editing a post. I tried recover password but my account was not found. Since then (including today) it reports too many login attempts. I had to re-register to continue participating in the forum.Ken Berry wrote: ↑Mon Sep 25, 2023 6:23 pm Can you please tell us how your account was lost? Re: Introduce yourself to other members in this thread.
Thanks. Strangely enough, we still have an active account for Bobby55, though it was last active, as you say, on 30 June 2022. It has not been deactivated. Unfortunately, we never have access to anyone's password, so I can't do much about that apart from issue a temporary new one if you want to use that account again. Please let me know... Saying you have too many logins also sounds strange and I will look into it. In the general forum settings, I just tick the box to keep my login active, and that works so that every time I open the forum, I am already automatically logged in. On the login page, where you sign in, make sure you tick the 'Remember me' box -- where I have the red arrow pointing in the attached image:
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

As I clear my cache on shutdown, the remember me box would be cleared.
I have a password manager that fills in my sign in box which I rechecked and the most current for the old username is recorded, however the email service I used to first register with corel (operamail) has now ceased meaning a new password would no longer reach me.
I may as well stay with the new account thanks.
