As a digital scrapbooker, I have a few things on my wish list:

1. Check gamut and CMYK color. I know of only two programs that offer this, but this is extremely important when you plan on printing your projects.
2. Clipping Mask like Photoshop has. I totally appreciate the Color Changer tool, however when working with grayscale graphics (templates in the digital scrapbooking world), it doesn't always give the look I'm after. Hence, clipping mask + #3 (more blending modes).
3. More blending modes: Direct Color, Vivid Light, Linear Light, Linear Burn, Color Dodge.
4. Brush size increase. I work with 12 in. X 12 in. images, so this would be very helpful and useful.

I think 2023 will already do this, but I want a button that says “unblur”, LOL! Now I sometimes use sharpen, but it doesn’t give good results and isn’t quite what I’m talking about. I’m pretty sure this unblur falls under AI, and I’m pretty sure it is already there, but I don’t see it. By using a command word like “unblur”, which I picked up from Fotor, it would be easier to understand and would make my life better.

I'd like to have the "Straighten" tool accessible from the Photography workspace. I like the clean and simple Photography workspace, and it suits my needs for most edits, but I have to switch workspaces to access the Straighten tool.

On the image resize window, with "Resample using AI Powered" selected, have the "Lock aspect ratio" and "Resize All Layers" check boxes visible/usable. Currently you have to set to Smart resize or other option to change these settings, then go back again to the setting "using AI powered"

-The ability for PSP2024 be more backwards compatible with Photo Shop plugins as for there is a vast of plugins that is available for Photo Shop that I wished it could be used in Paint Shop Pro.
-The ability to open eps files as vector.
-Open and Save SVG files.
-As Kathy_9 stated: A built in plug-in bridge for 32-bit plug-ins since the 32-bit version of PSP has been dropped.
-The ability of using Photo Shop Brushes instead of disassembling them and configuring it to be used with PSP.

You can already import Photoshop brushes in a very straightforward way: https://scrapbookcampus.com/2019/03/add ... tshop-pro/

Perhaps a little too late because version 2024 is going to be out in August.

But...

1.- *** Deleted ***

2.- More AI or better AI for:
- Removing objects, people...
- A thousand times better "AI Portrait Mode" for creating Bokeh Effect. I've finished always doing manually.
- An AI service like "Generative Fill" in Adobe Photoshop: enter a text prompt and generates an partial image or object.
- An AI to restore old/scrachy photos.
- An AI to colorize old b/w photos.
- Another AI to sharpen images, specially eyes and faces.

3.- Speeeeeeeeeeeed! Something is wrong and not fixed since version X2 of PSP, no matter hardware+software you have.
Working with any of this 4 "Adjustments layers" activated is extremely laggy, frustrating and painful:
- Local Tone Mapping
- Fill Light Clarity
- Vibrancy
- Histogram Adjustments

EDIT: Deleted #1, my mistake.

Can you expound on your #1? We can already save PSPImage files to be compatible with older versions of PSP under the Options button on the SaveAs dialog. I'm unsure if you're aware of this or are asking for something a but more specific.

Don't worry about Point 1.
My mistake: I have never thought that could be under "Options" button.

This wish list reflects my experience with JASC PSP7/8, Corel X4 and 2021 editions, and therefore some may have been addressed already in post-2021 editions.

1) In Jasc PSP7 & 8, it was possible to use the mouse wheel to zoom all the way out and then right back into the corners of an image. It hasn't been possible since at least X4 and makes canvas navigation more difficult by necessitating the use of scrollbars or switching to Pan tool.
2) Up to X4, it was possible to left click on various 'image windows' in a non-tabbed workspace and move them around with ONLY ONE click, in 2021 you have to click to select (if un-selected) and then click again to drag.
3) Unlike X4 and prior, the PSP2021 Canvas Resize window has a delay on updating/acknowledging new values. If you are a fast operator of the interface it's easy to input values directly via keyboard, or by mousewheel, only to press 'OK' and find the new values didn't apply, but the old ones did! There is literally a cooldown timer on the Resize tool window.
4) In PSP2021, the Resize (rescale) window is missing the "Resize all layers" tickbox for the AI-Powered option, and (only) operates via the last used boolean state which is available under other resize algorithms.

Edit 2023.09.05: Don't even bother fixing this stuff. I've just had 2021 edition crash three times in a row just as I was finishing the same piece of work (merely moving raster selections around, smashing CTRL+S as often as I can but it's just not bearable). Sometimes it won't even let me copy and paste a vector graphics, such a simple ask and it cannot do it, and raster selections often complain there's no canvas data when there IS on the layer I'm working on. And the Resize window is a nightmare: as I said before the 'All layers' option is missing on the AI-resize method, and the resize method keeps automatically switching, trying to guess what's best for me (and gets it wrong nearly every time). The cool down timer on the Resize window is unbelievably stupid and keeps catching me out as well.

PaintShop Pro went from solid Jasc PSP8, to questionable Corel X4, to horrific 2021 edition. It verges on unstable with this crash frequency, and more sluggish than previous releases. My OS is fully up-to-date and marked as compatible for this edition with more than sufficient PC hardware. What a waste of money, simply disappointing.

1. Give us the lowest upgrade price from the start and stop bombarding us with relentless spam as you lower the price throughout the duration. I have been using this platform since Jasc 5 and didn't upgrade once at the higher price. The majority of us can't afford to pay the luxurious early upgrade price. You have JUST offered us a "here's the deal" for £30. But it's not even for ultimate so in one way, a downgrade. This needs to be changed now. We will gain so much love and respect for you and many more of us will upgrade sooner. AND the "you have 48 hours to do this". I don't get paid til next week. You really make it impossible. STOP IT.

2. An easier way to login directly from the program to report a problem and submit screenshots. I want to report a few issues like the scale/perspective/etc tool keep changing role on its own.

3. AI background replace. I just tried it for the first time. Seriously ? what ?

Welcome to the forum, surround. I suspect this subject could develop into a larger topic. I hope that won't occur here in the Wish List thread which is not supposed to involve too much discussion. I also don't recall if this specific topic has been discussed here before either, though it may have. So can I suggest you start a new thread devoted to your problem, and we can then discuss it further there without over burdening this Wish List topic.
