I have seen PSP 2023 on another computer running.
It runs always in full screen mode.
How can users switch to window mode?
I want e.g. access File Manager or other window 10 programs parallel to PSP 2023
I cannot even see a minimize symbol in window title bar

EDIT: I just re-read your post and see you mentioned not being able to see a minimize option. This says to me you're in literal full screen mode as found under the View menu. So I removed the top of my comment and just kept the last item in.
That's in the View menu. View -> Full Screen. Simply deselect that and it'll stop being full screen. Fullscreen is different from Maximized because it gets rid of the top of the window as well as those three buttons in the corner (minimize, maximize/restore down, close). The shortcut to turn this on or off is SHIFT + A.

Hmm, there is no such sub menu as "Full screen". See this snapshot.

You appear to be working in the Photography Workspace
Go to File Workspaces and choose Complete, this is the workspace that most would use as default.
May be a little delay whilst switching over

@lata:
works (partially). Thank you
But when I exit and start PSP later again then Photography Workspace is the default again.
How can I tell PSP to always automatically start with "Complete" workspace as default and remember window size and position on desktop?

From the Complete - Edit workspace go to File – Preferences – General Program Preferences
Tabs – Set Edit as Default.

You can also set the workspace from the Welcome Screen. Be sure to hit apply after selecting the workspace of your choice.
