VS 2022 Ult - Multi Cam not Synch right

I just upgraded to the VS 2022 Ultimate on Windows 11, and tried to do a multi cam video. When I click the synch button, it takes a while, and when it finishes, the audio is not synched whatsoever.

Is this broken?

Well, upon further examination, it has synched with 2 of the videos but not 1. And, it will not let me choose file I want to take the sound from. It only offers Camera 1. I have a wav file I want to use for the sound, and I can't select that.

I did try the 2020 version after the initial post, and it kills the app and closes it, no errors, just disappears.

Are you saying you have 3 video files and 1 wav sound file.
If the recording quality is poor then the mcce will struggle to do an auto sync.
Are all recordings of similar quality?

We can do a manual sync by setting markers on each timeline to match the wave form, have you tried that option?

You could try a test project using the wav and one video, does that audio sync ok

Yes, 3 vids, 1 wav.

The sound quality is good on all, although maybe not identical quality.

I went back in later and I think it then allowed me to select the wav file for the sound. I'm using that because it is a music file from a keyboard, and the WAV from the keyboard itself is definitely better quality than the video recording audio.

I've done some cutting out of some stuff on the videos and have started over. i'll report back with how it's going, and if I need further help.
