Call Out Presets - can I adjust them?
Well, can I position the Pointer on the Call Out Preset? Or do I need to create a Call Out from "first principles"?

All preset shapes are vectors, so long as you have the "Create as Vector" checkbox checked. Once you've put it on the canvas, take the pen tool, select the shape, and edit it how you see fit. It doesn't have a tail direction or size property it's just a set of points. So knowledge of creating and manipulating vectors is handy.

The "crucial" thing for me was your:
OK, Dokey! I'll give it a go. So, no just MOVE the Pointer option.LeviFiction wrote: ↑Fri Jan 20, 2023 3:57 pm All preset shapes are vectors, so long as you have the "Create as Vector" checkbox checked.

OK, done that.LeviFiction wrote: ↑Fri Jan 20, 2023 3:57 pm All preset shapes are vectors, so long as you have the "Create as Vector" checkbox checked. Once you've put it on the canvas, take the pen tool, select the shape, and edit it how you see fit.
Yes, done ALL this - now, how do I go about changing the Colour of that Preset Box from a White - default - to the Green I want? Can I do this whilst STILL as Vector drawing/layer? Do I have to convert to Raster? Once I do THAT I can no longer do any Vector changes. Ugh.....LeviFiction wrote: ↑Fri Jan 20, 2023 3:57 pm So knowledge of creating and manipulating vectors is handy.

Re: Call Out Presets - can I adjust them?
Yes you can change the colors. Vector colors can be changed endlessly. You have a few options for doing so.
video demonstration of the options below: https://drive.google.com/file/d/16i6CMe ... sp=sharing
1) When first creating the preset shape there is a checkbox "Retain Style" this forces the shape to use the style (colors, stroke data, etc.) it was originally created with. When you deselect this box it'll use whatever stroke size, style, and colors you have selected.
2) If the shape already exists you can go to the layers palette, scroll open the vector layer, select the shape you want to edit, and double click to bring up the vector properties dialog. Here you can change the line style, stroke width, and colors of the vector shape.
3) If you grab the pen tool, while editing the vector, you can actively choose it's stroke (foreground) and fill (background) colors directly from the materials palette and the shape will actively change color.
Vectors can use solid colors, gradients, and patterns.
