COREL VS 2021 Ultimate - Text font issue Options Panel

For my projects I always use text font at 22 Arial bold or similar throughout etc. Never had the following issue before.

Have just created a Title on first two frames using Colourful Border Fly font 110. Options panel indicates Title Options.

On proceeding to next frames wanting to utilize normal text at 22 for rest of project it is not deactivating previous fly in features.
Options panel is not giving option -Text Messages & if 22 font selected it is minuscule & not readable.
Doing the normal click on T & double click on frame set on font 22 ...this is when text box super small.

Have closed project several times to maybe reset functions to no avail. Even deleted fly in Titles & still not letting me proceed with normal text.
What "stupid" thing am I not doing ?

The text editor does use the previous settings when creating a new title.
You should be able to remove any animation or settings you have applied by tweaking the Title Options.
Font, Styles, Border, Shadow, Backdrop, Motion this applies the Fly animation and Effects

Once you have created a title that uses your preferred settings drag this to the library as a copy.
When you wish to use those settings drag it back to the timeline to update the text only.

You could do this for several titles if you need to repeat similar settings.

Thanks for trying to help.From my original enquiry guess I'm not explaining myself well. The Title used was Colourful Border Fly font "as it is" with no extra adjustments.
My issue is the Text Settings Page of Options is not activating to allow me to utilize Text Messages to just add text with a font of 22 for the remaining full project.
Again I have deleted totally the first two frames that were animated - saved without the animation - closed project.
On re-opening project yes animation has gone but on trying to add just plain font for all the project font size 22 is minuscule & so small I can't work with at time of creating text - also still showing Title Options instead of what I think should be Text Messages. On enlarging project to view full screen on computer font 22 almost looks normal ???
Font size in project 50 or 60 looks more workable but think when played back would be totally abnormal for viewing.
Will try & add some screen shots which might give you my "missing link" clue as I'm confused.

1. So small can't work with font
2.Test 50 font - workable but possibly too big on final production screen
3.Text size box font 22 showing on ball
4. Initial animated title

I have searched User Guide but finding nothing to clarify my actions.

Hi
First the size of your fonts are related to the project size.
Choose a suitable font size, you seem to think 22 is correct on the final production.
Image 4 shows the title having some animation applied this most likely increased its original size on screen.
The title editor is only active after selecting the text on the review screen as your images 2 and 3
If you click image 4 text (may ned a double click) it should activate the editor showing what font was used and allow you to explore the other animation options.

Preview screen size…..
It does appear that part of the problem is the preview screens size being on the small size.
I usually resize the preview screen, first drag the top of the timelines down a little to hide the sound tracks.
That will allow the vertical height of the screen to increase.
Now drag the right hand edge of the screen the right increasing the size until the video fills the screen, yes that will reduce the editors size.
Now go to Settings – Layout settings for Save As – Custom 1
Your preview screen should be larger allowing you to read the 22 font a little easier.
If you wish to revert back to the default UI press keyboard F7

Thanks Trevor for your info. Guess I'm a little excited to be able to work in a larger Preview Window going forward rather than the smaller option I have used for past 20 years, with no issues & I still have my eye sight !
I have enlarged the Window as you indicated & saved to Custom 1.
Forget about the animation in my original post (shown as Image 4) as a starting Title as in this project I have removed to allow me to move forward in the text area.
Again I'm still confused what has changed in the font issue - 22 was used for years. Now even with bigger window 22 is really unreadable. Putting the font up to say 45 it looks more like what 22 used to be ?
I have noticed in your image that the character spacing is 100 mine 120...tried this & no difference in size. Does this do anything to my benefit ?

If need be I'll just use a larger font & hope it works out ok in the end production.

Some thoughts......
Have you always used Arial Black font for your earlier projects, different font types can show different sizes.

Has your project sizes changed, you are using HD 1920 x 1080

I mentioned project sizes affect font sizes, If your previous projects were using Standard Definition at 720 x 576, DVD sizes then font 22 will look larger than using 1920 , you can see this by starting a new project and setting project to Mpeg2 DVD sizes 720 x 576/480

I notice from all your images that the program (UI) is small and does not fill the desktop, I assume you maximise the UI when editing?

Hi Trevor,
Arial Black in various forms in recent years so Grand kids can read text easily. Even just tried Arial Rounded Bold to see if 22 different but not so.

I have not changed any settings for this project. Only time any settings changed previously was when I was having render issues - burner is busy changed to whatever was recommended. Issue still unresolved - BUT I just save file & burn to an external disc drive - hopeful this option will work again for me !

UI = User Interface

The images you show are of the User Interface

do you always edit with the program set to restore, or do you change to Maximise to set the program to fill the desktop
Click on the square, top right of the program.

Again learnt something new. Have never used Maximise but great option & will give it a go tomorrow when trying to move forward.

Well! running out of ideas but one thing comes to mind, have you changed your computer in any way, especially the monitor resolution, increasing the monitor size will affect how you see the font size.

But please start editing with the program filling the desktop (maximised)

And do not forget to resize the preview screen as my images here show.......
