The Following Hotfix is for saving PSD crash issue
by josephlin » Fri Aug 30, 2019 2:41 am
Dear PSP user,

As you may know, after PSP2020 Go Live and a few users encounter a crash issue when they try to save their document as *.PSD format. Corel noticed this situation and already resolved the crash issue. The fix will be included with Update 1 release later this year but we understood *.PSD file saving is quite important for some user who needs it. Thus, we've generated a hotfix and would like to share with the user who needs it via the forum.

You can download the hotfix from the link below and just d-click to install it.

Hotfix: http://dwnld.paintshoppro.com/updates/2 ... Hotfix.exe

Please noted the hotfix only can work with the PSP2020 retail version (22.0.0.132) and the version number won't be changed after installation. Thank you for your attention and sorry for the inconvenience.

The Following Hotfix is for the Cropping Issue
josephlin wrote:Hello PSP users,

Happy New Year! Thank you for your patient. In fact, we noticed this cropping issue in November of 2018 but the resource is very tight to resolve it in a short time. As you may know, we are working the next PSP version and do really spend all of our time on it. Finally, we got time to investigate this cropping issue and correct it. In order to make this error could be resolved soon, we would like to offer a hotfix through our customer service/support team. As long as the user reported a similar cropping issue and our customer service/support team will share the hotfix.

However, I would like to share the same hotfix here to the user who visited the forum frequently and ask your help to forward the hotfix to the user who encountered the same cropping issue as far as possible.

Please download the hotfix from the Dropbox link - https://www.dropbox.com/s/ryhdo3f96lk60 ... x.exe?dl=0

PS: Before you install the hotfix, please ensure your PSP2019 version is up-to-date. It means the update 1 was installed. If you still not install update 1 version, please visit (https://www.paintshoppro.com/en/support/updates/) to download it.

Thank you for all your attention and understanding. Let me know if you encounter any problem. :)

Hi, Guys

Our RD had the hotfix for this issue:
Please access the following link and download the file, then execute it with PSP closed:
Hot Fix for "Crash when switch WS"
Please be noted that this hotfix is only workable with PSP version: 23.1.0.27
(You can check the version via the system control panel, or via "PSP\ Help\ About")

Let me know if you still have problem.
Many thanks.
Eric

Posting on behalf of Joseph Lin, Sr. Product Manager at Alludo.

Fix for Expand/Contract Modification Issue and Scripts broken as a result.

Hello All,

I appreciate your patience. Alludo heard about your feedback and understood two major items (1. Script dialog disappears 2. Expand/Contract modification behavior changes have impacted the editing experience seriously) In fact, the script dialog problem is a regression issue but Expand/Contract modification behavior is a "Right" correction. The selection edge SHOULD KEEP the same style no matter expansion or contraction. However, this is a long-time legacy issue and this fix seems to impact all scripts included in this step a lot. Before we can find a better solution, we will reverse this change temporarily.

Now the fix has been included within all released builds and the update1 version. Here is detailed info for your reference. Please check your version number via "Help > About".

PSP2023 Retail Go Live version - 25.0.0.122 (You can click "Check for Update" via Help menu to get the new Update1 version installed) PS: DO NOT get the attached hotfix to install it.

PSP2023 Update1 version (OLD) - 25.1.0.28 - You may already encounter two above issues and here are two ways you can get the fix.

A. Ask for the hotfix through Alludo customer support team and install it. Or find the hotfix from the attached file. Please note the version number will keep on 25.1.0.28 even if the hotfix is installed.

B. Quick way - Reinstall PSP2023 version and the version number will be 25.1.0.32

PS: The version number which included these two items resolved is 25.1.0.32.

Again, sorry for any inconvenience and we hope this correction is on time and can help you to edit your work and smoothly.

Regards,
Joseph
